If I I’m doing my math right, it’s less than three weeks to Cisco Live 2012! That means that attendees should be finalizing their schedules and deciding what sessions they absolutely have to see. After just a quick glance, I’d estimate that there are around 400 sessions and nearly that many presenters. My challenge is always deciding what I don’t “have-to” attend. This year, I’ll be spending the majority of my time in UC sessions.
Although, Unified Communications has never been my focus of interest, I have regularly supported various aspects of Telephony systems. Due to changes in responsibility, this year is different. I hope to gain knowledge in regards to some of the newer features in later versions of Communication Manager. Additionally, I hope to better understand some of the use cases and technical details of ancillary components like IP Contact Center, Emergency Responder, and Unity Connections.
If you are attending Cisco Live this year, what sessions are you focusing on? We’d love to hear from you–so comment below! If you happen into me at Cisco Live, stop and say hello.
